Diesel Mechanic:
Perform general repairs and complex preventative maintenance on log trucks and logging machinery. Execute high-level asset overhauls, including rebuilding bearings and servicing drive lines. Safely operate overhead cranes, industrial forklifts, gas cutting torches, and welding equipment. Utilize diverse hand and power tools to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. $30.00 / hour.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Steady 10-hour shifts with premium overtime).
Position Type:
Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire. Requirements for
Diesel Mechanic:
2+ years of verifiable technical experience matching diesel or heavy machine repair fields required. Proven ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot diverse mechanical and fluid power systems. Hands-on comfort with welding fabrication, cutting torches, and heavy material-handling lifts. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly valued but not required. Exceptional daily attendance record, reliable transportation, and a safety-first mindset.
