They are hiring Shop Foreman / Lead Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This well-established company boasts a remarkable 94 years in the industry offering stability with minimal turnover. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in the following: Diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and heavy equipment repair
Job Tracking Inventory Management Job Description:
This position consists of approximately 25% "hands-on" mechanic work and 75% scheduling, inspections, ordering parts, job tracking, completing paperwork, directing employees, etc. Supervise, schedule, and evaluate shop technicians Assign jobs and monitor progress to meet deadlines Work with all divisions to ensure vehicles and equipment are available as needed Assist with hiring, training, and evaluations Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment Inspect completed work Manage inventory and ordering of parts and supplies Maintain accurate job records, timecards, and repair documentation Preventative maintenance and DOT inspections CDL is preferred
