Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Harter's Lakeside Disposal is currently looking for a responsible 2nd shift Diesel Technician. The individual will be responsible for assisting and performing all repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy duty trucks. Harter's is a family owned, growing company. We are constantly adding new trucks to our fleet and we are consistently growing. We offer full benefits and pay is based on experience. We are looking for somebody that wants to be a part of a small operation and grow with it. The perfect individual will consider our trucks their own and treat them accordingly.

Typical duties include:

Perform routine maintenance on equipment Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues Create a plan of action for all repairs Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs Ensure a safe, organized, and tidy workspace Input, track, and maintain all maintenance data and records Keep machinery is in good working condition Track inventory and order new parts when required Support coworkers and be a good team player Follow all health and common sense safety practices Traits we are looking for include: Familiarity with common mechanic's!
