Job Description

Caidlake Diesel Repair is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine and equipment issues Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify mechanical problems Ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Communicate with management regarding repair status and parts needs Assist with maintaining shop tools and equipment
Qualifications:
3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred (heavy-duty truck or equipment) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) Competitive pay (based on experience) Supportive, team-oriented work environment Apply in person at: 237 Admiral Rd Chapmanville, WV 25508 Or call Robbie Cline at: 304-688-2528
