Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, tractor-trailers, and diesel vehicles. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical components Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment Conduct fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, and assembly of parts required for repair Service and repair heavy equipment, tractor-trailers, and vehicle systems Utilize hand tools, power tools, diagnostic software, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting operations and equipment handling to prevent accidents Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed for compliance and future reference Skills Extensive mechanic experience working with heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment Proficient in operating heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, forklifts, and tractor-trailers Ability to perform tire service, brake repair, assembly work, and general vehicle maintenance with precision
