Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing components, parts, fluids etc.) aiming to functionality and longevity Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) Keep logs on work performed and issues corrected, with documented machine numbers and hours. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Experience Five plus (5) years of proven experience as Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic is needed. Valid certifications (e.g. Diesel and industrial Technology) is a definite plus Valid Commercial CDL License is also a plus Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED, preferred Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation Regular and punctual attendance Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of Equipment/Vehicles. Working knowledge of Equipment diagnostic systems and methods. (Cat ET, Cummins.)
