Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and be proficient in various mechanical tasks. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and related components. Perform repairs on air brake systems, hydraulics, and HVAC systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to conduct repairs. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper function of machinery. Conduct brake repair and maintenance on various vehicles. Operate forklifts safely to move equipment and materials as required. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Requirements Proven experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Familiarity with air brake systems, hydraulics, and HVAC systems is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for mechanical work. Ability to fabricate parts when necessary. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license may be required for certain positions. Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
