In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining direct current (DC) power equipment that ensures seamless operation of critical infrastructure. Your expertise will help keep our facilities energized and operational, supporting the broader mission of delivering exceptional service and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a hands-on setting while working with cutting-edge equipment. Duties Install, inspect, and troubleshoot DC power systems, including batteries, rectifiers, and power distribution units. Use hand tools and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repairs and maintenance activities. Perform routine preventive maintenance on low voltage electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Conduct equipment repairs and replacements efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Maintain detailed records of service activities, system performance logs, and repair histories for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with other service technicians to resolve complex issues related to computer hardware, networking components, or mechanical parts within power systems. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles involving electrical or electronic equipment repair and maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, test meters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic devices. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience working on computer hardware or networked systems is highly desirable. Service technician experience in low voltage electrical systems or DC power environments is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot effectively using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Excellent communication skills to follow detailed instructions and collaborate with team members effectively.
