As an Industrial Generator Technician, you will work in the field conducting services and repairs on backup power equipment. What you'll do Performing maintenance and repairs on generators and transfer switches Troubleshooting commercial and industrial power generation equipment Performing emergency repairs as part of our 24/7/365 program Completing and turning in job paperwork Diesel and natural gas engine repair and maintenance What you'll bring High School Diploma or equivalent Proven experience servicing and troubleshooting emergency power supply systems (EPSS) Working knowledge of engine maintenance and troubleshooting of natural gas or diesel fuel systems Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, power generation, or wiring schematics Must have basic to average proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight when needed Bring your generator or engine experience—Kohler, Rehlko, Caterpillar (CAT), Cummins, Katolight, MTU, Briggs & Stratton, Yanmar, Perkins, John Deere, or Deutz- This job is with an independent Generac channel partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
