In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of fireplace systems and related components. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy safe, efficient, and beautifully functioning fireplaces. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. Having personal hand tools is beneficial. Uniforms provided. No personal use of vehicles necessary or expected. Duties Install new fireplaces, including gas, wood-burning, electric, and custom designs, following detailed blueprints and schematics Conduct thorough inspections of existing fireplace systems to identify issues or safety concerns Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, venting checks, and system calibrations to optimize performance Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools with precision and care Collaborate with clients to explain system features, safety procedures, and maintenance recommendations Utilize construction management software to document work progress and service reports Install pre-determined granite surrounds and mantels. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on fireplace installation or related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or masonry Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools Ability to perform construction inspection duties ensuring compliance with safety standards Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration Ability to show up on time and follow simple instructions to ensure smooth and safe operation.
