You'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of high- and low-voltage systems, directly impacting system safety, equipment performance, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll DoYou'll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Travel to customer sites for inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and start-up on electrical systems (240V to 765kV)Perform testing on power transformers (e.g., Power Factor, TTR, Insulation Resistance) and collect oil samplesTest and troubleshoot protective relays, LV/MV/HV cables, switchgear, switches, and circuit breakersTest and troubleshoot instrument transformers and control circuitsRead and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawingsFollow

specifications and guidelinesManage project files, drawings, and technical documentationProvide excellent customer communication and serviceTrain apprentices and other team membersBe available for occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency workConduct hands-on execution including start-up, commissioning, and repairsHandle power delivery systems: transformers, switchgear, busways, UPS, ATS, PLCs, relays, and power control systemsPrepare and maintain detailed reports, checklists, and documentationQualificationsWhat You BringYou're someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right.
Successful candidates typically bring:
At least 3 years of experience in electrical apparatus testing and troubleshootingNETA or NICET certification preferredFamiliarity with power distribution, AC/DC voltage, and circuit theoryAbility to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawingsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and diagnostic softwareStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license with a safe driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkOSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training preferred (training available through KE if needed)Additional InformationPay RangeWe believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.
Pay Range:
