Job Description
This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a ESSP Lead Protection Engineer with a Protective Relaying emphasis for our Boise, ID office. Candidates for our Orlando, FL; Freeport, ME; Syracuse, NY; Charlotte, NC; Overland Park, KS; and Richmond, VA will also be considered. The ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location in the United States will be considered (please note in the application questions where you prefer to be located). Be involved in projects with our Electrical Studies, SCADA , and Protection ( ESSP ) team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges. WSP brings global expertise in power delivery, power generation, and program management-anchored by the acquisition of POWER Engineers, Inc. TRC Companies have now joined WSP , deepening our power practice and expanding our energy advisory and intelligent grid services. We're partnering with clients to shape how energy systems evolve around the world-and we need your help. The successful applicant will have a direct role in the design, engineering, and studies of protection systems for equipment on the bulk power system. This includes the protection of substations, transmission lines, generators, renewables, industrial, and distribution systems.
