Job Description

We're looking for an Electrical Services Technician 2 in Baltimore, MD - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers. Why Aggreko? Here and some of the perks and rewards. Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends Pay rate $38.00 to $45.00 an hour Annual bonus program No premium cost medical plan option available Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available, safety-focused culture working on brand new technology What you'll do: You'll be based out of our Baltimore, MD service center and can expect to work in the field with up to 75% travel. Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD's, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries. Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment. Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. We're Experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience: High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design 8+ years of formal technical training 10+ years' experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear. Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters Positive, self- starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality Valid driver's license Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
