NETA III/IV
certification to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead comprehensive testing and maintenance of electrical power systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of complex testing procedures, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs, supporting the delivery of high-quality electrical services across diverse projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in power systems testing. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer facilities to perform field testing, inspection, commissioning, and data collection on electrical distribution and transmission systems Conduct diagnostic testing on: Instrument transformers Power transformers (including insulation resistance, turns ratio, and advanced diagnostic methods) Protective relays (electromechanical and digital systems) Cable systems (VLF, Tan Delta, and related testing methods) Switchgear and circuit breakers across low, medium, and high voltage levels Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches (ATS) and associated control systems Perform relay calibration and power metering on moderately complex installations Interpret test results and generate accurate field service reports Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency service response Travel regionally with occasional overnight assignments.
Qualification:
Associate's degree in Electrical Power Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent military/field experience) NETA Level III or IV certification (or equivalent field experience required) Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting Strong working knowledge of power system diagnostics and switchgear systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting software; experience with industry-specific testing software preferred Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices
