Position Description:

Join our team as a Technician II

•Line Locator, where you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our water and wastewater infrastructure. Responsible for accurately locating, marking, and assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility lines, including water mains, service lines, hydrants, valves, PRVs, and meters. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on work in a dynamic environment, supporting essential water distribution systems and ensuring public safety and system efficiency. You'll work on-site in Rio Rancho, NM, with a team dedicated to safety, innovation, and excellence in utility services.

Top Requirements:

Valid New Mexico Class A Commercial Driver's License 2-5 years of utility line locating experience in water or wastewater systems Deep knowledge of underground water utility infrastructure and systems Experience reading and interpreting plans, diagrams, and as-builts Familiarity with hand and power tools used in utility maintenance and repair Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety High school diploma or GED Ability to work on-call and respond promptly to call-ins Digital literacy with maintenance management and communication tools Valid driver's license for
