  • Power Systems (PA base + 80% Travel) Description Our client in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry is looking for an Electrical Field Technician to add to their team in Canonsburg, PA.
In this role, you will travel to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair power transformers under warranty while working closely with customers and internal service teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience and be comfortable working in field environments. Training on power transformer systems will be provided . To be successful, you must have a solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints along with a commitment to safety and quality standards. This is a great opportunity to receive hands-on mentorship, expand your technical skills , and develop deep expertise working with large power transformers in the field. Electrical Field Technician
  • Power Systems (PA base + 80% Travel) Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to complete inspections, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs Ensure units are de-energized and complete required safety briefings and clearances Diagnose issues with power transformers covered under warranty Identify and resolve wiring issues and electrical faults Coordinate with customers and internal teams to schedule service visits Document inspection findings, repair work, and maintenance activities accurately Maintain detailed records of warranty claims, service activities, and resolutions Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal teams Inspect transformers prepared for shipment to verify completion and assembly readiness Maintain transformers in storage including oil records, testing documentation, and logs Ensure all service work complies with company safety policies and industry standards Electrical Field Technician•Power Systems (PA base + 80% Travel) Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience Experience with transformers, distribution systems, switchgear, breakers, or similar is required Comfortable working around high-voltage equipment is required Comfortable working in confined spaces is required Valid driver's license is required Ability to work from Canonsburg, PA, + travel weekly, up to 80% overall, is required About #twiceasnice Recruiting Across industries, roles, and North America, we help clients quickly attract top talent with custom-built searches.
