Job Description
Field Technician II Build your career in electrical testing and power systems. We're seeking a hands-on Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution equipment. This role offers a clear path toward NETA certification, ongoing technical training, and advancement opportunities within a growing organization. What You'll Do
+ Perform testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical power equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motors, CTs, PTs, and grounding systems.
+ Operate specialized testing equipment such as Ductor, Hi-Pot, power factor, and ratio/saturation testing equipment.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
+ Document test results and field findings accurately.
+ Follow established safety procedures and identify potential job site hazards.
+ Travel to customer sites and represent the company professionally. Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in electrical power systems, utilities, industrial maintenance, electrical contracting, testing, or commissioning.
+ Hands-on experience with electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
+ Ability to work safely around low, medium, and high-voltage equipment.
+ Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics.
+ NETA certification or equivalent experience preferred.
+ Strong communication skills and willingness to travel locally and regionally. Why Join Us?

Travel and overtime are expected, providing opportunities to gain valuable experience across a variety of power system environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
