Role Statement Service, diagnose, test, repair, adjust, and overhaul outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other related gas and electric powered equipment. Outcomes for Success Service power equipment including changing oil, greasing, fueling, washing, and testing. Assemble outdoor power equipment and other mechanical components according to manufacturer specifications Inspect and troubleshoot various types of outdoor power equipment to diagnose issues and perform repairs as needed to make equipment function properly Create part and cost estimates for needed repairs Perform routine maintenance services on small and large engine power equipment Willingness to learn and seek technical/product training when available Ensure work area stays clean and free from debris and trash May perform other duties as assigned Wages Starting wages will be based on years of experience and education. GED Physical Requirements Heavy Work:
Lifting or exerting up to 51-100 pounds of force seldom and/or up to 35-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or less than 35 pounds frequently to move objects. Heavy work involves standing and/or walking all the time. Requires the ability to work alone without risk to oneself and operate equipment without close supervision. Occasional reaching-extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
