A-Level Powersports Technician Paulson's Motorsports | Tacoma / Olympia Area If you are a skilled powersports technician who is tired of chaos, unpaid headaches, and bouncing between advisors who do not understand the work, this position may be a good fit. We are a high-volume, family-owned powersports dealership rebuilding our service department the right way. Our focus is clear process, strong leadership, and fair pay for quality work. What makes this shop different All work is assigned by a Shop Foreman Technicians are paid on customer pay, warranty, and internal work Efficiency expectations are clear and achievable Service advisors handle customers so technicians can focus on wrenching Clean, organized shop with real standards Growing department with long-term stability No unpaid work, no moving goalposts, no unnecessary drama. Pay and incentives Hourly or Flat Rate (based on experience) Efficiency-based hourly increases, calculated bi-weekly and based only on hours worked. Consistent technicians can earn an effective rate of $30 to $40+ per hour Overtime available during peak season What you will be working on Motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft Diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and warranty work Pre-delivery inspections and accessory installations All work performed to OEM specifications What we are looking for Proven A-level or strong B+ technician experience in powersports or a related field Ability to diagnose and repair independently Pride in clean, correct work Professional communication with the Shop Foreman and service advisors Personal hand tools required (shop provides specialty tools and equipment) OEM certifications are a plus, but not required.
