In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of commercial and residential fitness machines. Your technical skills and proactive approach will ensure our customers experience seamless workouts and stay motivated to achieve their health goals. Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on diverse fitness equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and strength machines Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to accurately identify electrical issues and ensure proper functioning Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts replaced, and diagnostics conducted Communicate clearly with customers regarding service procedures, maintenance tips, and safety instructions Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times Collaborate with team members to share technical knowledge and improve service processes Requirements Proven experience in repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; experience with fitness or gym equipment is a plus Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions Excellent communication skills to explain technical details clearly to customers of varying backgrounds Ability to lift heavy equipment parts safely and work in physically demanding environments High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications related to electronics or mechanical repair are preferred A proactive attitude with a passion for helping others stay active and healthy Join us as a Fitness Equipment Service Technician and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to enhancing fitness experiences through expert service!
