Excellent Job Description Position Overview Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support its Simpson product line (industrial sand mixing systems integrated with DISA equipment). This position focuses heavily on PLC programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical support of automated industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities Commission and start up new equipment at customer sites. Troubleshoot and service existing industrial machinery. Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs. Provide technical support both onsite and remotely. Train customers and support personnel on equipment operation. Complete service documentation and reports. Identify equipment upgrades and service opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience. 5+ years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance, commissioning, or field service. Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience with automation, controls, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Strong customer-facing communication skills. Ability to work independently in the field. Preferred Qualifications Experience with foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industrial equipment. Previous field service experience with extensive travel. Experience commissioning automated equipment. Travel Requirements 50%-80% travel throughout North America and occasional international travel. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
