Join us as a Field Service Engineer based in Peabody, MA Field Service Engineer - NMR Responsibilities Use your NMR knowledge and experience to install new or modified equipment at customer's facility, provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) instruments Determine source of instrumentation problem, repair, recommend replacement, or other corrective action to District Manager Troubleshoot and repair equipment Provide excellent customer service to our clients Field Service Requirements A minimum of an AS degree in an appropriate area of electronics, engineering or science; plus two or more years' experience with NMR, analytical instrumentation, RF electronics or an equivalent combination of education and electro-mechanical experience. Knowledge and ability to apply principles of RF electronics An understanding of troubleshooting techniques and approaches, ability to analyze, evaluate, and assess complex and interactive mechanical components Knowledge and experience with NMR and analytical chemistry preferred Requires a valid driver's license, passport, and some overnight travel Why JEOL Comprehensive Medical without deductibles 401K plan with a match and company contribution Company car Opportunities to advance within the organization.
