Job Description

Apply Field Service Installation Engineer Location UK Job Type Permanent Salary up to £46,000 basic plus uplift and overtime when travelling Navis Consulting are looking for a practical, solutions-focused engineer to support the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial laundry and warewash chemical dosing equipment on cruise ships around the world. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in varied environments and delivering excellent service to customers. Responsibilities Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing chemical dosing equipment for commercial laundry and warewash applications Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and safety checks on installed machinery Working with electrical and plumbing systems in a cruise ship environment Supporting onboard installation projects alongside project managers, engineers and contractors Preparing equipment, accessories and consumables for installation and maintenance work Completing service reports and technical documentation accurately and on time Providing technical support and training to customers and end users where needed Building strong customer relationships through professional, high-quality service Requirements City & Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installation qualification, or equivalent relevant electrical background Proven experience in a field-based or hands-on engineering role Experience working with 3-phase equipment Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair skills Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home for extended periods Experience in commercial laundry, warewash systems, dosing systems or plumbing would be an advantage Benefits This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, travel and solving technical challenges in a unique operational environment.
