This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work independently while representing Agrifac in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will provide on-site service and technical support for advanced agricultural machinery, perform preventative maintenance, conduct equipment inspections, and assist customers with equipment operation and training. The technician will work closely with customers, dealers, and internal support teams to maximize equipment uptime and resolve technical issues efficiently. This role involves frequent travel, occasional overnight stays, and the ability to respond to urgent service needs during peak agricultural seasons. The position also includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a willingness to continually learn new technologies and equipment systems.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical service documentation. Experience with precision agriculture technology, GPS guidance systems, and automated machine controls preferred. Comfortable using diagnostic software, multimeters, pressure gauges, and other specialized testing equipment. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing CAN Bus communication networks and related machine control systems. Knowledgeable in pneumatic system operation, air flow circuits, and component diagnostics. Compliance with company safety policies and procedures Competitive pay, service vehicle, travel expenses, training opportunities, and advancement potential are available for qualified candidates. Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a technician performing service repairs Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment Ability to perform basic computer functions Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred A valid driver's license is required Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

$50,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
