job summary: Master the mechanics of elite high-speed machining centers! Our client is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide premium technical support for their industry-leading CNC machines. This role is dedicated to resolving multifaceted challenges that exceed the scope of standard distributors, requiring a "road warrior" who thrives on solving mechanical and electrical puzzles. Machine Repair Expertise:
3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical repair of CNC machine tools.
Control Proficiency:
Deep knowledge of FANUC controls is required (experience with Yaskawa or Siemens is a major plus).
Diagnostic Literacy:
Expert ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and complex machine manuals.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
analytical skills to identify causes and provide corrective actions for high-precision machining centers.
Educational Background:
A 2-year technical degree in electrical or robotics fields is preferred.

Elite Installation & Repair:
Travel to customer facilities to provide expert-level installation, troubleshooting, and repair support on high-speed machines and controls.
Distributor Mentorship:
Provide comprehensive training and technical assistance to distributors and customers to ensure the "premium standard" of service is met.
Technical Resource Research:
Utilize machine manuals and internal vendor resources to research and resolve complex machine issues that exceed standard repair scopes.
Detailed Feedback & Documentation:
Ensure meticulous documentation of repairs and installations, providing feedback to management and global factory teams.
Technical Manual Production:
Assist in the creation of technical bulletins and repair manuals to maintain the collective knowledge base of the service department.
