Job Description
Get your hands on top-of-the-line CNC machines and keep manufacturers across the Portland area running. $30 to $50+ per hour, based on your experience and skill level , plus a monthly car allowance, a gas card, and per diem when you travel. Expect some overnight stays during the week depending on the project, but you are home on weekends. You are not on call, you are not working nights, and you are not gone for weeks at a time. What you will do Service, install, and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes in the field Diagnose and repair the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical side of these machines, including ball screws and spindles Run preventive maintenance and get machines back in production fast Solve problems on site, build the customer relationship, and provide some light training Own your service cases start to finish and keep clean records as you go Who we are looking for If you turn wrenches on CNC mills and lathes, this is for you. We mean real mechanical work, not just checking coolant levels. If you have swapped out ball screws or spindles and you are comfortable across the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical side of these machines, we want to talk to you.
