Field Technician Responsibilities:
"Safety First" mindset and positive work attitude. Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches. Get to the customer site to determine the scope of the service needed. Perform water extraction/mitigation - floor drying and cleaning, mold and mildew remediation, decontamination, demolition, and debris removal. Document and digitally record all restoration activities using proprietary industry software. Clean and store damaged properties/belongings until they can be returned to the site. Transport, maintain and service all equipment/tools and assigned vehicles necessary to perform restoration services. Adhere to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment. Conduct routine equipment monitoring/reporting out in the field. Inspect and troubleshooting equipment failures. Retrieve and log transfers of equipment. Utilize technology for accurate data recording. Provide updates on necessary channels of communication. Provide assistance to technicians on other jobsites. Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle. Complete job reporting for all actions conducted daily.
Field Technician Requirements:
Flexibility with directives and coordination due to nature of fieldwork. Proven work experience as a field technician or related position. Relevant technical skills working with technology to complete job reporting. Ability to travel in company vehicle and work according to a changing schedule. Excellent time management skills and diligent, proactive work ethic. Mechanical and electrical knowledge for jobsite safety. Ability to problem-solve efficiently and effectively. Adequate communication and cross-training skills. Physically fit and able to work in a crawlspace.
Education and Background:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree of secondary education is preferred. A non-violent, non-theft background is minimally required to work for Dry Out Systems , Inc.
