Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site support and maintenance for various systems within manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, along with experience in electrical systems, plumbing and HVAC/R. general maintenance and repair knowledge. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of equipment and systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in manufacturing facilities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems and HVAC/R units. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Maintain clear communication with your Supervisor regarding service updates and recommendations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Proficient in electrical systems including high voltage, low voltage, and general electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with field service operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish. Strong analytical skills for diagnosing problems quickly and efficiently. Experience with industrial electrician tasks is a plus, including the use of ammeters and ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits. Military experience is valued but not required; however, candidates must demonstrate relevant technical skills.
