Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Restoration Technician and become a vital part of helping clients recover from unexpected damages caused by fire, water, mold, and other disasters. In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of restoring homes and businesses to their original condition. Your expertise in cleaning, restoration processes, and the use of various tools will ensure efficient, thorough, and safe recovery efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Perform comprehensive cleaning and debris removal following fire, water, mold, or other damage incidents to restore property to pre-loss condition. Execute fire restoration procedures including soot removal, odor control, and structural cleaning. Conduct water damage restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and moisture detection using specialized equipment. Carry out mold remediation activities by identifying mold growth, containing affected areas, and safely removing mold colonies in compliance with industry standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, repairs, and construction work necessary during the restoration process. Assist with asbestos abatement projects by following safety protocols and proper disposal procedures when applicable. Perform carpet cleaning using industry-standard equipment to restore flooring to its best possible condition. Support construction-related tasks such as drywall repair, painting, flooring replacement, and minor carpentry work to complete restoration projects efficiently. Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed for project tracking and quality assurance purposes. Follow safety guidelines rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. Proven experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services. Strong knowledge of fire restoration techniques and water damage mitigation methods. Familiarity with mold remediation procedures and asbestos abatement safety protocols. Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (saws, drills), and specialized restoration equipment. Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning and debris removal efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling restoration challenges. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients while maintaining professionalism. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks that involve lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
