DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform infrared thermography inspections on electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, panels, MCCs, substations, and distribution systems. Conduct compliant testing and preventative maintenance. Collect field data for arc flash studies and assist with hazard assessments. Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Prepare clear, professional inspection reports with infrared images and testing results. Follow all
OSHA, NFPA
70E, NETA, and company safety procedures. Work closely with our office team, our customers, engineers, and fellow technicians to complete projects safely and efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS NETA
Level I or II (or higher) and/or NICET certification preferred. Infrared Thermography Level I or II certification preferred. Experience performing electrical testing, infrared inspections, and/or arc flash field data collection. Working knowledge of
OSHA, NFPA
70E, and electrical safety practices. Ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear actionable reports. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
