Right now, the business is being run entirely by the owner, handling everything from technical service to customer communication to marketing. We're ready to change that. We're looking for our first hire: a dependable, skilled, and motivated individual who wants to take ownership of field operations and grow alongside the business. This is not just another technician job. WHAT YOU'LL DO

This role is primarily hands-on in the field, with additional responsibility supporting day-to-day operations and growth. Technical & Customer Service (Core Focus - ~75%+) Inspect, clean, repair, and install dryer vent systems in residential and light commercial settings Diagnose airflow and safety issues and explain solutions clearly to customers Safely access roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and exterior venting Use hand and power tools to complete service work Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment Serve as a professional, friendly, and trustworthy face of the business Educate customers on safety risks and recommended services Collect payments and ensure a smooth, high-quality service experience Represent the brand with integrity and attention to detail Operations & Business Support (< 25%) Monitor and respond to customer emails and service inquiries Help coordinate scheduling and job follow-ups Support referral relationships (property managers, realtors, etc.) Assist with local marketing efforts (door hangers, flyers, community outreach) Other duties as assigned

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys hands-on, physical work and problem-solving Wants more than "just a job" and is excited about helping grow a business Is self-directed, reliable, and takes pride in doing things right Is comfortable working independently in the field Can communicate clearly and professionally with customers You do not need to know dryer vent systems specifically; we will train you. But you should bring strong mechanical or construction-oriented aptitude or relevant experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be 25+ years old (insurance requirement for company vehicle) Comfortable working at heights (ladders, roofs) and in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces) Experience with hand and power tools Strong work ethic and reliability Proven customer service skills Ability to lift, climb, and perform physically demanding work Preferred (Not Required) Background in construction, HVAC, home services, or similar trades Experience in customer-facing roles Basic comfort with technology (smartphone, scheduling tools, email) Interest in growing into a leadership role as the business expands
