This energetic role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of restoration projects, utilizing your skills in cleaning, construction, and specialized remediation techniques. As a Restoration Technician, you will be on the front lines of restoring homes and businesses to their original condition, making a tangible difference in clients' lives through your dedication and expertise. Duties Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using industry-standard equipment and techniques. Conduct fire restoration activities such as debris removal, soot cleanup, and odor control to restore affected areas efficiently. Execute mold remediation procedures following safety protocols to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, repair, and construction work needed during the restoration process. Assist with asbestos abatement projects by following strict safety guidelines and proper disposal procedures. Clean and restore carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces using professional cleaning methods. Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress effectively with team members and clients. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients throughout projects.
