Job Description
This position is responsible for completing reconstruction and repair work following water, fire, storm, and other property damage. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on construction experience, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while maintaining a professional jobsite. Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction, remodeling, or restoration experience Experience with residential or commercial reconstruction Strong knowledge of general construction practices Good carpentry and drywall skills Experience with painting and finish work Ability to read and follow a scope of work Ability to identify problems and communicate them to the Project Manager Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to safely lift materials, use tools, and perform physical construction work Reliable, professional, and dependable Responsibilities Complete reconstruction and repair work according to the project scope Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials when needed Framing and carpentry Drywall installation, repair, and finishing Painting and texture matching Door, trim, and finish carpentry Flooring installation and repairs Cabinet and miscellaneous repair work Assist with roofing, siding, and exterior repairs when needed Protect surrounding areas and maintain a clean, organized work area Communicate changes, additional damage, or unforeseen conditions to the Project Manager Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles Work safely and professionally in homes, apartments, commercial buildings, and common areas Interact professionally with customers, property managers, tenants, and other contractors Preferred Experience Water, fire, or storm restoration Insurance reconstruction Apartment or commercial restoration Xactimate familiarity IICRC certifications Experience working in occupied properties
The Right Candidate:
We are looking for someone who can walk onto a jobsite and get to work. You should be comfortable handling a variety of construction tasks, solving problems in the field, and producing quality work without needing constant supervision. Restoration work can be unpredictable, so flexibility and good communication are important. We need someone who is dependable, works well with a team, and understands the importance of treating customers' homes and properties with respect. This is an experienced position. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant hands-on construction, remodeling, or restoration experience.Pay:
