Colorado Springs, CO Hanson HotSpring Spas is a locally owned company in Colorado Springs with over 40 years of experience serving El Paso County and Southern Colorado. We provide HotSpring Spa sales, service, maintenance, sauna repair, sauna building, and water care solutions. We are seeking a dependable and skilled Spa & Sauna Service Technician to perform service, repair, maintenance, and customer support for hot tubs, spas, saunas, and related equipment. This position requires forklift experience, strong technical ability, good knowledge of water chemistry, and the ability to repair and build saunas. Compensation Starting wage range is $23.00-$26.00 per hour. Final wage will be determined by the candidate's skill set, experience, forklift experience, water chemistry knowledge, sauna repair/building ability, and demonstrated field service capability. What You'll Do Perform service work on hot tubs, spas, saunas, and related accessories. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, plumbing, mechanical, and water care issues to determine the needed corrective action. Repair, build, and assist with installation of saunas as needed. Maintain strong working knowledge of water chemistry, including chemical testing, balancing, sanitation, and safe chemical handling. In accordance with preventive maintenance contracts, inspect, calibrate, test, and balance water chemistry. Advise customers of necessary service work and make recommendations regarding replacement of worn or damaged parts, systems, and related components. Provide information and training to customers regarding proper spa, sauna, and water care operation and maintenance. Develop and maintain good rapport with customers while consistently striving to provide Positively Outrageous Service and ensure customer satisfaction. Deliver parts or supplies to customers as needed. Complete work orders, daily logs, and weekly time logs accurately and on time. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modifications through training seminars, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, manufacturer documents, individual research, and other correspondence. Maintain proper inventory of parts on the service vehicle and in the warehouse; report field inventory levels as required. Keep management informed of all significant problems, progress, or difficulties. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift items of light to heavy weight, up to 50 lbs. Ability to assist in moving hot tubs, sauna materials, and related equipment. Ability to bend intermittently and repeatedly, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or perform fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods. What You Need High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift experience required. Technical experience required. Good working knowledge of water chemistry required. Ability to test, balance, and explain spa water chemistry to customers. Ability to repair and build saunas required. Spa, hot tub, sauna, plumbing, mechanical, and basic electrical experience preferred. Ability to accurately read and interpret schematics. Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations within the past five years; no more than two preventable, at-fault accidents within the past five years; and no impaired driving conviction within the past five years. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work a rotating on-call weekend schedule, as assigned. Ability to work independently or within a team. Forklift certification preferred. Commitment to excellent customer service. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Intermediate computer skills and email communication skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Pre-Hire Requirements Candidates must successfully complete all required application testing and a field test prior to hire.
