As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing new equipment, troubleshooting system/equipment issues, performing repairs, conducting maintenance, occasional fabrication, and shop work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field service and maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment including removing, repairing and installing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to determine how to best address and rectify system issues.
• Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components (ex. pumps, motors, valves, variable frequency drives, etc.)
• Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Utilize computerized management systems to track work orders and document repairs
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Experience in field service or related roles, preferably in an industrial setting
• Familiarity with computerized management systems
• Basic welding skills for minor repairs or modifications
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
