Our job is to carefully pack, document, move, clean, store, and return the belongings inside the property while repairs are being completed. We're looking for a Lead Contents Restoration Technician who can work alongside the crew, take charge on the job site, and make sure the work gets done safely, efficiently, and professionally. One day you might be leading a packout after a water loss, the next organizing contents back at our Danbury facility, and the next helping a family move their belongings back into their restored home. What You'll Do Lead a small crew on residential and commercial contents projects Organize the job site and keep the team moving efficiently Pack, wrap, label, and protect customers' belongings Oversee detailed inventories, photographs, and digital documentation Make sure every box and item is properly identified and tracked Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, equipment, and household contents Organize trucks so belongings are protected during transportation Direct technicians and help train newer team members Check the team's work and make sure quality standards are met Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and customers Work alongside restoration contractors, adjusters, and other professionals on the job site Help clean and process fire- and water-damaged contents at our Danbury facility Keep job sites, vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas clean and organized Follow safety procedures and make sure the crew does the same Solve problems when they arise — because in restoration, they will Take pride in representing 1-800-Packouts professionally Who We're Looking For You don't need to have spent your entire career in contents restoration, but you should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment and taking responsibility for a crew. Experience in restoration, moving, packing, warehousing, construction, furniture delivery, or another field-service environment is preferred. Previous crew-lead or supervisory experience is a big plus.
