Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Coordinator to oversee our dispatch operations and serve as the key point of contact for our customers. In this role, you'll coordinate closely with field technicians and customers to keep service running smoothly, ensure timely responses, and help deliver maintenance and repair services. Your ability to manage schedules, communicate effectively, and keep multiple priorities on track will be essential to our team's success.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Logistics:
Coordinate daily dispatch and scheduling for field service technicians.
Client Relations:
Manage urgent service and breakdown calls from golf course superintendents.
Preventative Care:
Schedule routine spring start-ups, maintenance, and winterization cycles.
Quoting:
Prepare cost estimates for emergency pump repairs, upgrades, and retrofits.
Ideal Candidate Profile Background:
2+ years of experience in dispatching or service coordination, preferably within industrial irrigation, water treatment, or other industrial/commercial trades.
Tech Savvy:
Proficient with field service management software and GPS tracking tools, with experience using platforms such as Microsoft Exchange and QuickBooks.
Technical Understanding:
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or irrigation systems, with the ability to understand field-service issues and coordinate the appropriate resources.
Communication:
Excellent communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional when handling stressed clients, particularly during peak summer demand and heatwaves.
Problem Solving:
Strong ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and make sound decisions under tight time constraints while coordinating technicians, schedules, and customer needs.
