Field Service Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assisting with the delivery and setup of pumps on client sites. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of pumping equipment, contributing to our reputation for excellence in service. Responsibilities Load, unload, deliver, and set up pump equipment and accessories at client sites. Ensure all pumping equipment and accessories are safely delivered or picked up. Review all items being delivered or picked up with customers to ensure completeness and accuracy. Maintain logs of mileage and deliveries. Assist in the setup and breakdown of pumping equipment, providing customer assistance. Properly instruct customers on equipment operation and answer any questions they may have. Diagnose and repair minor service issues during daily on-site service calls. Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call service as assigned by the Service Manager. Account for, assess the condition of, and return all rental equipment to the branch following standard procedures and documentation. Essential Skills 1+ years of driving experience. 1+ years of mechanical experience. Experience with pump assembly, water treatment, and preventive maintenance. Ability to read blueprints and perform troubleshooting. Knowledge of hand tools, wiring, and electronics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic mechanical ability and working knowledge of diesel-powered equipment. Good sense of direction and ability to read a map. Experience loading or unloading construction equipment is helpful. Ability to complete simple repairs, such as oil changes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Palm Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
