Able to travel up to 70% (Strong electrical/mechanical background)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a global leader in automated processing, sorting, and packaging technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, self-driven professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with cutting-edge equipment, and traveling the world while making a direct impact for customers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, upgrading, and servicing advanced machinery at customer sites across the globe. Approximately 70-80% of your time will be spent traveling internationally, giving you the opportunity to experience different cultures, industries, and facilities while building strong customer relationships. When not traveling, you'll work remotely or from a regional office, collaborating with a highly skilled service team to deliver world-class support and keep customer operations running at peak performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesRepair, rebuild, upgrade, and retrofit machinery, including motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, pneumatics, and control panels.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and mechanical drawings to support installation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.

Assemble, configure, and modify complete machines and production systems using mechanical, electrical, and electronic toolsDiagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, servo, VFD, AC/DC, and control system issues to maximize equipment performance and uptime.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve machine malfunctions and operational issuesPerform preventive maintenance activities to maximize machine uptime and reliabilityRelocate, upgrade, and retrofit new and existing equipment at customer sitesQualificationsExperience as a Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar technical service roleHighly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyElectrical & mechanical troubleshooting (AC/DC, motors, controls, industrial machinery)PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and automation equipmentReading electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsPneumatic and hydraulic systems troubleshootingMachine installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repairComfortable traveling internationally for extended periods (70-80% travel)BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePTO + Holidays401(k) plan with company matchWellness program
