Job Description

About the Role As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of high-volume commercial kitchen and facility systems. You will enjoy autonomy in the field, utilizing your diagnostic skills to ensure equipment reliability and peak performance across a local service territory. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and install a wide range of commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment to minimize downtime. Execute proactive preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifecycle of essential facility assets. Resolve reactive service requests efficiently while adhering to strict performance and quality standards. Coordinate with technical support teams and equipment manufacturers to identify parts and troubleshoot complex system failures. Maintain precise digital records of work orders, inventory, and service activities to ensure operational transparency. Uphold rigorous safety protocols and environmental standards during all onsite repairs and installations. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in trade-based maintenance, facility repair, or related technical fields. Active EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants. Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems. Proficiency in reading technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a service vehicle. Preferred Skills Formal training from a technical or trade school. Experience with commercial food service equipment or industrial power transmission. Strong digital literacy, including experience with mobile service applications and Microsoft Office. Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
