Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lead Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital force in restoring properties affected by water, flood, fire, and mold damage. In this energetic leadership role, you will oversee the mitigation process from start to finish, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. Your expertise will guide a team of technicians through complex restoration projects, utilizing your industry knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver outstanding results. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate water damage restoration, flood mitigation, mold remediation, and fire restoration projects with enthusiasm and precision. Perform emergency response readiness activities, including on-call coverage for urgent situations that demand swift action. Supervise cleaning tasks, carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, and the use of power tools and hand tools to ensure thorough and safe restoration work. Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport personnel and equipment to project sites. Implement strict safety protocols, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and respiratory protection measures, to safeguard team members during all phases of work. Conduct detailed assessments using Xactimate estimating software to accurately document damages and scope of work. Maintain excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients throughout projects, addressing concerns professionally, and ensuring satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement. Strong construction experience coupled with familiarity in using power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment for mitigation tasks. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards; adherence is mandatory. Ability to respond promptly in emergency situations; on-call coverage availability is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Proficiency in Xactimate or similar estimating software is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles required. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
