Standard business hours (flexibility required due to travel) Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Coordinator (Mechanical Systems) to support and coordinate domestic and international service operations. This role combines service coordination with hands-on mechanical work, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact between clients and service teams Coordinate and manage service requests to ensure timely and professional execution Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability and client needs Provide clients with updates on service status, timelines, and scheduling changes Travel to customer sites to perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and installation Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical systems and components Maintain accurate service records, reports, and client communications Assist in developing SOPs and service-related documentation Troubleshoot and resolve service issues independently or with internal support Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer satisfaction Generate reports on service activity, technician performance, and client feedback Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 35% to 50%) Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in field service operations, service coordination, or related role Hands-on mechanical experience working with tools, machinery, and equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Knowledge of EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) practices Valid driver's license Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed Fluent in spoken and written English Valid passport required Physical Qualifications Ability to travel frequently, including international travel Ability to work hands-on with mechanical equipment and tools Ability to perform on-site service work in various environments Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities Work Environment / Schedule Field-based role with frequent travel to client site Combination of coordination/administrative work and hands-on mechanical service Exposure to industrial equipment and service environments Fast-paced, customer-driven work setting EEO Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic under applicable federal, state, or local law.
