Job Summary The Field Service Technician must be knowledgeable on the installation, servicing, and maintenance of suspended access (swing stages/rigging) at job sites and in the shop. This role ensures equipment is safely inspected, operated, and maintained in compliance with company and safety standards. Responsibilities include performing safety checks, troubleshooting motor issues, delivering equipment to job sites, performing service calls for faulty motors, completing required documentation, and training customers on proper equipment use. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, is comfortable working at heights, can perform physically demanding tasks, and maintains a strong safety-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (must be flexible in schedule based on business need) Key Responsibilities Ensure suspended (or other motorized) equipment is loaded with necessary equipment & supplies to complete the job. Perform rigging and de-rigging services/swing stage in accordance with BrandSafWay safety guidelines. Prepare paperwork including but not limited to Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Rigging & De-Rigging Work Sheets, Job Checklist, loadout form and DOT Inspections. Make service calls to demonstrate equipment and instruct customers in the correct and safe use of equipment, rigging procedures, operating methods, safety checks, and emergency recovery procedures. Follows company procedures to ensure that all work-related records are accurate, updated in a timely manner, and conform to company standards. Assist in the maintenance of equipment in the job sites as well as in the shop. Clean and maintain rigging trucks, trailers and heavy equipment. Observes safe working practices, safety rules and regulations by adhering to correct use of safety equipment, correct safe rigging/swing stage procedures, correct operating methods, required safety checks and emergency recovery procedures. Operates Company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner for the pick-up and delivery of equipment, parts, tools and material as directed. Performs periodic safety and maintenance checks on Company vehicles and insures that required maintenance actions are accomplished on schedule and maintains related records. Performs general warehousing tasks such as the receiving and storing of parts and material as well as packaging and shipping parts and material and maintains related records. Performs daily general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keep both shop and office spaces clean and orderly. As directed, assists Service Mechanics in the maintenance and repair of swing staging equipment and accessories in the shop and at job sites. Operate forklift Work at elevated heights Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year of related experience or working with suspended access systems. Rigging experience, a major plus. Operate forklift Experience with Tractel/Spider swing motor/components highly desired Scaffolding installation experience highly recommended. Valid drivers' license with clean driving history. Prior related experience preferred as a rigger in construction industry. Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to work in elevated construction areas without fear of heights. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and carry for extended period (up to 15 minutes) several times during one shift. Standing for long periods of time. Good verbal and written communication skills. Computer experience preferred Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working physically demanding position Comfortable working with electrical components Safety first attitude.
