The ideal candidate will have a passion for restoring properties affected by fire, water damage, and mold. This role requires hands-on work in various environments, utilizing both power and hand tools to restore homes and businesses to their original condition. The Restoration Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality restoration services. Duties Perform water damage restoration, including extraction and drying of affected areas. Conduct fire restoration tasks, including cleaning soot and smoke damage. Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe environments for clients. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete restoration tasks including demolition work. Restore carpets and other flooring materials as necessary. Follow safety protocols during asbestos abatement when required. Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop restoration plans. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to industry standards. Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and timelines. Requirements Experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge or Expertise in categories of finish carpentry, electrical, HVAC, general construction, masonry, plumbing, & renovations will be compensated accordingly. Familiarity with fire restoration and water damage restoration practices is desirable. Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials when necessary. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
