About the Role As a Field HVAC Service Specialist, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of complex climate control systems. You will play a vital role in maintaining system reliability for diverse commercial environments, utilizing your advanced diagnostic skills to solve intricate mechanical challenges. Responsibilities Execute precise diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of commercial HVAC systems to minimize downtime and restore comfort. Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on chillers, RTUs, and air handlers to proactively identify and resolve potential equipment failures. Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure all installations meet peak operational efficiency. Document service activities and system performance metrics to provide clients with transparent insights and actionable recommendations. Uphold rigorous safety standards and local building codes, ensuring every project is executed with technical excellence. Partner with internal teams to deliver seamless service experiences that drive long-term client satisfaction and system longevity. Qualifications Required Skills 4+ years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service and repair. Expertise in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components using multimeters and diagnostic tools. Proficiency in servicing major commercial equipment brands and complex HVAC/R systems. Valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to work independently in the field. Strong commitment to professional communication and high-quality customer service. Preferred Skills Direct experience with building automation systems and advanced HVAC controls. Proven track record in commercial new construction start-ups and system balancing. Ability to interpret complex blueprints and schematics for large-scale mechanical systems.
