Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks to extend equipment lifespan and optimize performance. Install new systems or components following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, maintenance tips, and system operation to foster trust and understanding. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance. Lead small teams or coordinate with other technicians during complex projects when necessary. Maintain parts inventory levels on your company van. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in commercial restaurant equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical components and perform equipment repairs efficiently. Food service or industrial maintenance background is a plus for understanding diverse environments.
