Position Overview As a Sterilizer Repair Technician, you will travel throughout the Davenport region performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of sterilization, industrial washing, and surgical equipment. You'll partner directly with healthcare professionals to ensure essential medical equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a hands-on field service role ideal for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience and previous experience servicing sterilizers or industrial washing systems. Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment from manufacturers including Getinge (CASTLE), Steris (AMSCO), Consolidated, Tuttnauer, and other leading manufacturers. Install new equipment and complete equipment modifications.

Autoclaves Sterilizers Rack Washers Tunnel Washers Bottle Fillers Bedding Dispensers Blanket Warmers Surgical Lights Surgical Tables Maintain accurate service documentation and inventory records. Educate customers on proper equipment operation and preventive maintenance. Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service. Plan and manage service schedules to ensure timely completion of assignments. Complete service reports within required timelines using company software. Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and additional service solutions. Follow all company safety policies and customer site protocols. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience repairing and maintaining Getinge (CASTLE) and/or Steris (AMSCO) washing, sterilization, or surgical equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Computer proficiency with Windows-based software Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
