Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing industrial and commercial mechanical equipment and systems, compressed air and refrigeration type equipment experience is preferred. Candidate must have strong computer knowledge and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Work will be done both inside our shop and at the customer's locations throughout Iowa, which allows occasional overtime and being at home each night.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
  • Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions or DUI's in previous 5 years (Required).
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude and/or experience in troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and/or commercial mechanical systems repairs.
  • Compressed air equipment experience and HVAC or commercial refrigeration is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong PC Knowledge - knowledge and working proficiency of Microsoft Office.
  • Candidates must be self-directed and able to perform duties without direct supervision in a timely efficient and safe manner.
  • A set of basic tools will be required, any specialty tools will be provided.
  • The ability to be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
on a regular basis and work in industrial environments that include extreme temperatures with continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending and kneeling in a safe manner.

Company Service Vehicle, Specialty Tools and Laptop Responsibilities:
  • Be able to effectively communicate with Co-workers, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Customers verbally and in writing daily to ensure effective and efficient work environments.
  • Be able to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair compressed air equipment safely using wiring and flow diagrams. Instruction and parts manuals and document all completed activities and recommendations to ensure proper operation of various equipment.
  • Conduct work in a safe manner and complete safety assessments on continuously changing work environments.
  • Serve as technical support to customers by addressing complaints, completing repairs and maintenance and making recommendations focusing on a system wide approach to ensure proper operation and overall system efficiency.
  • Be a role model and representative of Air Mach by being committed to integrity and professionalism, honest and superior customer service and efficient and safe work habits.
