Dean Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of advanced fire prevention and detection technologies. Our client delivers end-to-end solutions, from design and engineering to installation and maintenance. Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you'll work independently across customer sites supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance of specialized fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Commission and service advanced fire prevention systems Support installation and commissioning of aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems Perform service calls, preventative maintenance, and minor installations Train customers on system operation and maintenance Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and procedures Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Support sales teams when required Travel to customer sites as needed
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in fire alarm systems and electrical engineering. Mechanical engineering experience is beneficial. Knowledge of ASD Technology highly preferred. Proven capability in a fast?paced field service environment. Valid driver's license. Ability to wear SCBA equipment; SCBA experience preferred. NICET certification preferred. Why apply?
