You will utilize your expertise in woodworking, upholstery, and leather repair to restore furniture to its original condition, ensuring every client receives a high-quality service experience. Responsibilities Execute professional-grade repairs on wood, leather, and upholstery, including surface refinishing and structural rebuilding. Assess damage severity to determine the most efficient restoration methods while maintaining high aesthetic standards. Operate and maintain a variety of power tools and repair equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Manage a mobile service route, maintaining an organized vehicle and inventory of essential repair supplies. Collaborate with warehouse teams to provide feedback on recurring product issues and improve inspection techniques. Document service outcomes and communicate clearly with customers regarding repair processes and timelines. Perform advanced component replacements and color-matching tasks to ensure seamless results. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in furniture repair, including wood refinishing and upholstery work. Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as drills and impact drivers. Strong verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction. Preferred Skills Experience with spray booth operations and specialized finishing techniques. Ability to learn and utilize internal software for service tracking and reporting. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based environment.
